The good - an adequate breakfast and a genuinely lovely view from the balcony. The bad - simply the thinnest curtains of anywhere weve ever stayed at meant we were both woken by the sun at 5am, at 6:30am the owners grandchildren had an extended foot-stamping competition (which we discovered at breakfast woke the other guests too), oh and the mattress felt like itd seen better decades. This would be an ideal B&B for those not in need of rest or peace, for everyone else this place cant be recommended.

Be Old Skool and pick up the phone to book into this characterful large Edwardian B&B . We did and got a beautiful (spotlessly clean) double room with a balcony where we could sit and enjoy the stunning views and garden. We wanted to be close enough to walk into Wells which we were , a ten minute walk took us to the center. Stephanie and Steve were very welcoming and gave us lots of advice and history about the town. Great breakfast too!

Very comfortable and homely, treated like a member of family. Walking distance to town centre and places of interest. Priced very reasonable.
