A beautiful hotel with a warm welcome. The room was beautifully decorated and with every convenience - tea and coffee, plenty of towels and lots of electric sockets. A real treat to stay at Beryl.

Outstanding BandB in the beautiful city of Wells. Attention to detail, friendly welcoming owner and staff, relaxed atmosphere in beautiful designed bedrooms. A superior experience not to be missed.
Sadly disappointing. It is a beautiful house on a lovely tract of land. So why only 2 stars? The room we stayed in was small, on the top floor. It had no drawers whatsoever to unpack into. The wifi did not work at all one night, and was sporadic the next. No A/C and no fan...and it was warm. The walls are thin and our neighbors complained about us talking at 11:20pm....and it was talking, not partying. The sheep in the field outside the window would not quiet down until late. Lastly, I originally booked for one person, and when I changed it to 2, the increase was 40 per night. Yes, it is a very nice breakfast, but $52? All in all, 2 stars.
Can recommend this friendly comfortable b&b, staff very friendly and helpful. Guests treated more like friends than guests. Room excellent. Had 2 great nights stay.
