Quirky, fun small hotel. If you have any problems with stairs don't stay here - almost all the rooms up multiple flights of steep steps. But on the plus side fantastic views of the cathedral and it's a unique place to stay. Room was nicely decorated with a shiny modern bathroom. Nice breakfast. We enjoyed our night here.
Fantastic restaurant, lunch time special of 2 courses and a glass of wine, 10.50. Brilliant Italian cuisine.
A great place to stay, and man is it ancient it just oozes history with its steep stairs and being a physical part of the old walls. Had a great view to the cathedral too.
My favourite DB&B in Wells, by miles. Fantastic food, fantastic staff, good accommodation in an outstanding position.
Lovely clean room, food was very nice and the staff were polite and friendly. Would definitely stay again.
