This is the second spa and dine day I have been on in the Metropol and it's fab. Lovely massage great pool jacuzzi sauna and steam room. The food was delicious, steak cooked perfectly and the staff were polite and helpful. Great value as well! I'll be visiting again soon.
Love the place Victorian class refurbished. All the beauty of a traditionally magnificent Victorian spa hotel, but refurbished to a good standard. Go back to a calm classy period long gone, and have a quality afternoon tea, while RELAXING in their conservatory frontage, and watch the world go by. Book in their August Victorian week, and you will make memories you will never forget. Just step back in time a slower pace. Wonderful spa, and area great for walking, with a national outdoor bowling green within walking distance, and a short run in a car to places like the Elan Valley with what was the largest dams to walk round, and hunting ground for Red kites. So much on your doorstep, highly recommend.
A beautiful place to stay. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Clean and tidy. The building is breathtaking. The food there is exquisite!! Would highly recommend.

The staff were lovely. The hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean. The food was exceptional. And also the spa was a wonderful relaxing experience.I have worked in high class catering establishments and I can only rave about our whole stay and will look forward to returning to the Metropole.
