The food was very beautifully presented and delicious. We were also given some complimentary home made bread to start which was very tasty. A very cosy atmosphere, perfect for a special meal.
We were a large party and managed to book a table late on a Sunday. Simon was accommodating from start to finish and we all agreed that the service and food was excellent. Really recommend the sorbet if you're vegan, never had anything like it! Delicious! Really lovely meal in a lovely town, can't wait to come back!
Great food, the chef brings different flavors together. A roasted pumpkin soup with goat cheese, the taste, simply divine. A perfect hanged up sirloin steak on a lukewarm beetroot bed a new experience. Great, congratulations.
Always a tasty meal... Only two thing detract... 1. The lighting... Sometimes a bit too bright. 2. The portion size... Could do with being bigger. Sort both of them and it's a 5 star.
Visited with a group of friends, I asked for one of the burgers to be well done, when it was served, it came out pink. I sent it back, not that they seemed too happy about it, it came back burnt on outside and still pink inside, very watery too, they hadn't even cooked another one fresh. I couldn't be bothered to complain again. The quality of food was poor and so was the atmosphere. The place is always empty. It looks like a fast food outlet, yet trying so badly to be pretentious. It's clear from comments that the owner doesn't take critism very well.
