The most beautiful trip. We stayed in Amber Lodge which is one of the cheaper lodges. But it still surpassed our expectations. The attention to detail in the lodge is notable, and although we only stayed for a 3 night weekend winter break, the place is so well-kitted out that you could stay for months - there is everything you need. The on-site cider barn is great fun - popular with the locals and lots of live music. For a beautiful walk, just cross the road and head up the hill for lovely views over cheddar. The park owner is very kind, generous and helpful. Do not hesitate to book a trip to Strawberry Fields - we loved it!

Fantastic venue, near enough to local attractions but also far away enough to feel secluded. Lodges done to very high specifications. Would thoroughly recommend going to the Cider Barn (on site but not part of it) - low key but the friendliest place (staff and customers).
A great relaxing venue. Well equipped cabins and the Cider Barn is brilliant for a mellow drink and a bowl of chili or stew.
We've stayed here now on several occasions and every visit has been has been very peaceful and quiet, which is a perfect way to unwind from the norm. The lodges have always been very well prepared and provisioned. For the hot tub lovers out there, they are clean, roomy and private. Local produce/supplies are readily available if you're going fully self sufficient, however there's plenty of good places to eat if you don't mind getting out and about. Wells is also just a short drive down the road if you need any emergency supplies.
