Since this dental practice has changed to Bupa ,the service is appalling!..I rang this morning, after my filling fell out,to be told my dentist is on holiday, and although I have developed jaw pain and toothache ,they could give me an appointment for the 1st of October!!!..I can however ring at 8am in the morning for an emergency appointment,if there is one available???..We have been going to this dental practice for many years...And never had any problems..(.until Bupa took over!.).I am NHS..something tells me if we had been private patients ,I would have been seen immediately!!...
Girlfriend had quite severe toothache a few weeks back. She was seen quickly by a very friendly, helpful and re-assuring dentist. Staff were generally politely and made my girlfriend feel at ease
My wife has tooth extraction and root has been left as dentist couldn't take out whole part of it ! She paid for that and waiting nearly 6 months for appointments to see it oral surgery ! ! Bad sad and frustrating she will never going again !!!
DO NOT GO HEREAbsolutely Appalling. After many years of attending Northam House Dental they were bought out by the huge corporation of Oasis. I was transferred to a new dentist and forever seemed to have grumbling problems. After staggering toothache ( pacing relentlessly througn the night wating for them to open) I was referred tk a locum because my dentist had gone part time to one day a week.Long and Short: several courses antibiotics and 9 1/2 weeks until they began work on the tooth by whicn time the rot was so bad I lost the tooth but, hey, not to worry because my one day a week man was also their implant specialist!Transferred to excellent but expensive dentist to discover that i was going to lose two more teeth, one so rotten it went below the jaw, no pain because root canalled, the other because he crowned without excavating all the cariesWent to Law where Oasis tried to blame my 'poor diet' despite the BDC saying this was 'Unequivocal Negligence'They have done similar to a neighbour's elderly mother, causing her to lose teeth, spend 15,000 on implants which are so badly done she cant chew properly. On going to seek 2nd opinion Oasis reported that there was no problem but that she had a 'psychogenic' obsession with chewing. The reality is that you her implants are all at the wrong heights and anglesIf you value your teeth and those of your family DO NOT GO HERE
