If you like peace and quiet and friendly not pushy hosts, then you will love this CL, a previous reviewer said about steep slope, nonsense, we didn't even need levelling blocks, if you want shower blocks and toilets go to the big sites. This is a clean CL with basic amenities what more can you want, we will be back. Thank you Joe for all your help
Me and my fiancee stopped here in November 2018 and it was brilliant, beautiful area and to our surprise there was tones to do. Owners are lovely and welcoming, the glamping pod is warm and cosy. Definitely coming back and would recommend to anyone worth more than they charge!
Fab site run by a lovely family. Electric hookup, toilet and shower immaculate. Free WiFi and TV reception is good. Slightly sloping field but Joe and Katherine have loads of levelling blocks and are more than happy to assist with towing and levelling if needed. Loads to see and do locally, but if you want peace and quiet this is the site for you. Lovely scenery and wild life if you wish to take time to watch. Stunning dark skies at night with an unbelievable array of stars and we were lucky enough to see shooting stars on our second night. Thank you for a relaxing and memorable break. We will be back. Lovely CL, slopes no problem! plenty of blocks available to help levelling. Beautifully quiet and amazing countryside views. Owners are very helpful and really friendly.
What a fantastic little CL site. The owners Joe and Kathy were very friendly and helpful. The toilet and shower was spotless. They had levelling blocks to use to level your caravan as the site is on a slope. The site was very quite and lovely views. Would definitely go back. A gem of a campsite. Some lovely walks locally to Wookey hole and also Wells.
