This theater is small but well equipped. The staff was very friendly. The seats would be more comfortable if they leaned back a bit, but are otherwise great.
Really starting to enjoy going here. Such a change from the big multiplex type cinemas. And a free coffee when you go to a matinee performance.
We saw The Favourite at a Tea Matinee in January. For those who don't know, this is an afternoon viewing with a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits thrown into the very reasonable entrance price. The whole thing is civilised and enjoyable, with friendly staff, comfortable seats, and good sound and vision. This kind of independent cinema should be supported, so although it's nearly an hour's drive from us, we'll go again. And a big plus - Wells is lovely!
A brilliant little local independent cinema. All the latest releases plus, you can sit with a beer or cup of tea if you want. Good value too. Superb.
Wells film centre is an independent, family run cinema. It has four screens which, although on the small side compared to modern multiplex cinemas, provides an enjoyable movie experience. The sound during the ads and trailers can be quiet, but is much louder for the main film. Tickets can be booked online, please be aware that the start times stated are the actual start time for the film, doors open and ads start 30 minutes prior to the stated time. Seats are comfortable, though there is not much leg room. Wheelchair users should be aware that there are steps up and down to each screen. There is a selection of sweets and ice creams available from the lobby. They serve soft drinks, alcohol and hot beverages. There is a pay and display car park across the street. My family enjoy going to this cinema. We find the staff friendly and polite. The cinema accepts meerkat movies vouchers.
