Such a beautiful place to visit. The unique scissor arches are worth a visit on their own. There is so much to look at and everyone was very friendly. The cathedral is mostly wheelchair accessible but of course the sea of steps isn't. The choir area is beautiful with some very old tapestries that are worth a look. You can easily spend an hour or more here.

An amazing day out, such a beautiful and moving place to visit, steeped in history. Something for everyone. Better than many of its contemporary buildings, better laid out, quieter and not so busy. Little is closed off and you can access almost all of it. Friendly staff. When we went it was mid winter and super cold, the cathedral cat was snuggled up to the radiator in the cathedral and loved the attention from visitors!

Wonderful place to visit. I'm not usually into architecture but I couldn't help being impressed by incredible structures. I also enjoyed reading the graffiti on 18th century tombs.

Stunning Cathedral and nicely described, showing the evolution of the building. There is an entrance 'donation' but it is well worth it. It has a nice gift shop. The cafe upstairs was not very good unfortunately.

This is breathtakingly beautiful to behold. Staring up at the stunning facade of the building, you could be forgiven for finding yourself transported back in time (Wells has that effect on me!) Inside is equally stunning with so much to take in. I recommend you stick around for the chiming of the clock and try to hear the choir too - heavenly!
